Brian Dear is an electronic music producer and DJ based in Barcelona, Spain. He works across progressive and melodic trance, drawing on the darker rhythmic energy of techno and the emotional reach of uplifting trance. Melody guides the music, while rhythm gives it direction.

His approach centers on emotional storytelling. He is interested in the space between an intimate musical idea and a powerful dance-floor moment: how tension builds, how a melody changes the mood, and when to let a track open up. Darker textures and driving rhythms give the brighter passages room to mean something.

Alongside his production work, Brian has performed at smaller local DJ events and collaborates professionally with Dennis Sheperd. His DJ sets reflect the same musical interests as his productions, moving through progressive grooves and melodic trance with a sense of continuity. The aim is a journey with feeling, space, and a clear musical direction.
